Detroit Electric installed its first two Kyocera multifunctional copiers from Prime Office Innovation in 2012. Prime is proud to have placed two TASKalfa color machines. By purchasing the color series, it eliminated the need for smaller color printers. Detroit Electric JATC also loves the ability to have usage and supply levels tracked electronically. Prime Office Innovations conducted a close review of their current maintenance and supplies cost of the existing equipment. Prime determined that implementing the TASKalfa color machines would immediately reduce down-time, increase quality, and more importantly reduce operating expenses by nearly 50 percent. Tom Bowes comments on his experience:
”We appreciated the fact that we were able to get away from set monthly fees and only have to pay based on the number of prints made. This gave us a significant cost reduction when compared to the contract we previously had. I would estimate that we are saving nearly 50% when compared to our old contract, even with adding color capabilities to our second copier, which is a plus for our instructional staff.
The ability to have our usage monitored, and supplies sent automatically, was also a factor. I am impressed with the after-the-sale service we have received. Even though one of the machines needed repair a few days after installation things were taken care of quickly. The on-site education for our office staff was also very helpful. Every time I call, l the Prime Office staff is courteous, friendly, and professional.”
